even though a simple design, this one took almost 6 hours spread over two days, broken up by naps and the bathroom. 

Jeremiah says being sick sucks, thank god for indoor plumbing.

Hahaha...... It's only taken me a month to complete this one.... a month?!?! What? Where did that month go?
This is a commissioned piece for an old friend's daughter.

A friend created this in response to my previous post. 

This requires a bit of a back story........ several weeks ago, in an attempt to cheer up a mutual friend, myself and another created some personal "hey boy" memes about our friend (these are "memes" riffing off of the Ryan Gosling memes that have flooded the internet this year). These images were then posted on our friend's facebook wall. 

What happened after was a wave of personalized memes being created for each other. This meme-battle washed through our community of friends on facebook and produced many laughs. It's a delicate line to create a personal (but not too personal) meme about someone you know: you want to ride that line of truth without it being mean.
